Hangzhou city has a new center around Qiantang River with abundant green space on both banks. However, the existing Fuxing Bridge and Qingchun Tunnel hinder active travel, while the subway blocks river views. The landscape bridge, based on a pedestrian system, connects the citizen square and Olympic sports center, promoting integration of resources on both sides. This eliminates the need for cars to cross the 1KM distance for library or gym access.
